We are in the process of putting together a list of events for this year, for full details of the Dining Club and to join, click here.
Oriel-y-Parc in St Davids is keen to join in with the Really Wild Dining Club programme and we are holding the first of our 2010 events there on MONDAY 29th MARCH. We have been invited to dine at the Gallery on this date to coincide with the opening of their new exhibition shown in partnership with Amgueddfa Cymru - National Museum Wales. Before dinner we are being offered a private viewing of this exhibition, appropriately titled THE CHANGING LANDSCAPE.
St David’s has a new Cawl Queen! Tara Guy from the Farmers Inn in Goat Street,(cawl H), coasted home well ahead of her fellow competitors to win the title. Andrew Holcroft from Cwtch Restaurant was second (cawl A) and Gareth Jones from The Refectory at St Davids Cathedral was third (cawl G). There were over 160 judges at the Really Wild Cawl Competition who tasted every Cawl in turn and voted for their favourite three.
- The Really Wild Food & Countryside Festival is the friendliest and wildest festival in Britain, colourfully celebrating the food and activities of the Welsh countryside.
- Our aim is to get more children and adults into, and excited about, the countryside – foraging for food, enjoying the healthy benefits, learning what’s around them, having fun.
- We work to preserve, revive and hand on countryside traditions and stories for generations to come.
If you haven’t visited the friendliest festival of them all,
where have you been?!
