Oriel-y-Parc in St Davids is keen to join in with the Really Wild Dining Club programme and we are holding the first of our 2010 events there on MONDAY 29th MARCH. We have been invited to dine at the Gallery on this date to coincide with the opening of their new exhibition shown in partnership with Amgueddfa Cymru - National Museum Wales. Before dinner we are being offered a private viewing of this exhibition, appropriately titled THE CHANGING LANDSCAPE.

An evening to remember in Saundersfoot

If anyone out there thinks the Really Wild Dining Club is Pembrokeshire’s answer to ‘I’m a Celebrity...’ please think again!

What a treat last night was!

St Brides Spa Hotel was a fabulous location, especially for those of us who took advantage of Andrew and Lindsey’s great offer on accommodation and use of the Spa facilities!!

As we have said before, the seasons, locations, chefs and available wild ingredients make each Really Wild Dining Club meal a unique experience and last night was no exception.

Andrew introduced us to Craig Evans a couple of weeks ago whom we quickly realised has the most passionate and knowledgeable interest in wild foods and foraging along the coastline.

We are very excited about the next venue for the Dining Club and hope that lots of you will join us for another Really Wild culinary treat.

We have now finalised arrangements with St Brides Spa Hotel in Saundersfoot (www.stbridesspahotel.com) where we shall be treated to a splendid seafood and coastal feast.

The Really Wild Dining Club and the Really Wild Festival has featured on the BBC Radio Wales programme, Country Focus, the rural news magazine for those who live and work in the Welsh countryside, which is presented by Melanie Doel. First broadcast on Sunday 5th July at 7.30am and repeated on Tuesday July 7th at 9.30pm, but if you missed it sadly it's no longer available even on BBC iPlayer.

Scott and the kitchen team really pushed the boat out to make the menu for the recent Dining Club night a great success. And with a big crowd of hungry diners to attend to, 'very well done' to all the staff too - we ran them ragged!

The next Really Wild Dining Club evening is to be held at Llys Meddyg in Newport, Pembrokeshire on Wednesday 17th June.
