Yes it's that time of year again. Although it's still cold and wintry, spring is just around the corner and we're starting plans for this year's Festival.
We're also planning a much bigger and better Verge too, following its successful inauguration in 2009!
To get things kicked off we're hoping our valued supporters, exhibitors and visitors alike might help us spread the word...
If you'd like to support The Festval on your own website, we'd love you to copy and paste the following into your links page (or any page, really!):

The final cook-off of the Pembrokeshire Tourism Awards took place at the Festival and despite the pressure, as expected the finalists produced some fabulous dishes even though they had to work under the scrutiny of a salivating crowd. And they even had to provide a running commentary!

David Morgan and his family of Little Treffgarne Farm, Wolfscastle were judged to have had the ‘wildest’ decorated stand at this year’s festival and have won free entry at the 2010 festival. David was exhibiting for the very first time at the festival and only decided at the last minute to apply for a stand.
YOUR Really Wild Festival needs YOU!
If you visited, exhibited or participated in any way this year we'd love to hear from you. Your comments and feedback are always encouraging and since we're already planning next year's events, we want make it better than ever so tell us what you thought...
I'll keep this short because it's Saturday night and it's been a long day! A day which I spent wearing a high visibility vest declaring in bold letters on the back that I'm "REALLY WILD". But apart from a very brief spin round the Festival for a quick lunch-break, I was unable to participate much in the goings-on. From where I was stationed, I could only spectate on the activity of the car park and the loos!
But I had such a good time, that it positively flew by; and I'm really looking forward to tomorrow for more of the same!
Despite the terrible rain we had this week and how close we were to calling the whole thing off, we're so pleased that we were able to find nearby land which wasn't completely water-logged. So, with a huge effort from a wonderful team of unsung volunteers, last minute changes were accommodated and the gates opened at 10:00 this morning...
Sometime during Saturday evening and Sunday morning, vandals ripped off and took the large banner from the field entrance of next weekend’s Really Wild Food & Countryside to be held on the Festival Fields, Whitesands Road, opposite the Rugby Club in St Davids.
If you're a regular here, or subscribe to our newsletter, you may recall from a previous news item, that the final cook-off for this year's Finest Chef/Cook category will take place at the Festival on Sunday 6th September.
The first of the award nominees will start cooking at 12 noon. As they're all sure to create a lot of interest and debate (as well as some fabulous dishes, no doubt) we recommend that spectators come to the Festival on the Saturday and just camp out to be sure of a good spot in the audiences!
We are thrilled to announce that the Really Wild Festival has been short-listed in two categories of the Pembrokeshire Tourism Awards 2009.
